First day, April 27     Return to 2006 index page

The misadventurers started arriving in the late afternoon.  Several groups got confused at the 4-way stop at Vidal Junction.  One turned right and the other hesitated, but continued on straight.  The approach to the Big River Inn is stark, but once they were around the back facing the river all thought it was a great site.  The sun slowly went down and the temperature dropped.  Dinner was served and a fire was built in the barbeque grill.  Some singing occurred but most went to bed early.  More pictures are here.
