This is the coast road loop which goes up over the coast range into
the Matole valley, where Honeydew is located. The lighthouse road
is a spur on the loop where the road ends at the ocean at the north end
of the Lost Coast trail. After we left the spur we stopped at
Petrolia for bottled water. Then up the empty coast road for a
lunch on a deserted beach and then back over the mountains to the park.
