Steve, George, and I went to Nepal and India in February/March 2006.  Notes

We flew to Kathmandu, Nepal by the way of Hong Kong and Bangkok.

We arrived in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon and were bused to the Shangri La hotel.  The next day we went down into town to Thamel and Durbar square.  The pictures show the narrow streets and the profusion of temples in Kathmandu.

We flew to Pokhara in western Nepal on Yeti Airlines and then took a bus to the start of our trek in the Annapurna region of the Himalayas.

We then returned to Pokhara and then flew to the Chitwan Royal National Park.   Then returned to Kathmandu by air.

We then flew to Delhi, India.  After a half day tour of Delhi, we traveled to Jaipur.  The Amber Fort and other sights were seen in Jaipur.

The next day we traveled to Fatehpur Sikri.

Then on to Agra, where the main attraction is the Taj Maj.

Back to Delhi and then a plane flight to Udaipar.

Finally,  we returned to the USA via Hong Kong to Los Angeles.
