The Peirces and Rosenbergers went to El Salvador in April 06.   Weather was good.  Roads were excellent.  Phone service was excellent. Very few people spoke English, but Jim R could speak Spanish.   El Salvador is not set up for tourism of any kind yet.  Very few drivers know anything about the area outside where they live.  We rented taxi cabs to get around the very small country.  Notes
