Desert 2021
The first five pictures of the trips we took to the desert in 2021 show an Indian cave with thousands of year old pictographs. One of our favorite camping sites is east of Indio at Hayfield and there is a large Rock about 100 ft tall that provides shade even in the summer. We also took a trip to north east of Barstow where we found a bunch of bees getting in our wine and water at our campground in the middle of nowhere. The next pictures show a cabin in the Eastern Mojave desert that is a shared cabin. The final pictures show a navy base on the southwest side of the Salton Sea that was used as a test site for bomb design in the second world war.
