The "no host" reception on Friday night will be at the Pasadena Courtyard
Marriott at 180 North Fair Oaks Ave. (corner of Fair Oaks and Walnut). The
reception is from 6-8 PM in their hospitality room to the right after you
enter. There will be light munchies, a cash bar, some "doo wop" dvd videos
playing. You can pick up your name tags at that time, and you can verify
driving directions for Saturday and Sunday events.
The Saturday morning school tour will congregate at the High School
auditorium, just off the parking lot, corner of Fremont and Bank. We would
like to gather between 8:45 and 9 AM to kick off our tour at 9:00. I will
also have name tags available for each of you there. The tour will last about
one hour, followed by a great oldies but goodies organ recital in the
auditorium. We can all thank Dick Spaulding for organizing the recital, and
Mary Beth for organizing the tour.
The dinner is at the Brookside Golf Club, 1133 Rosemont Ave. in Pasadena.
That is just north of the Rose Bowl. For those staying at the Courtyard by
Marriott, there will be a large van to shuttle you to and from the dinner,
departing the Courtyard about 6 PM with another trip about 6:20 PM. The
dinner will wind down between 9:30 and 10:00, and the van (big) will be there
to return you to the Courtyard. Don Rogers will be taking the class photo
about 6:45.
Hey guys, we want you to be comfortable. Jackets are optional for the dinner,
but "NO TIES". Have fun.
The Sunday Brunch, hosted by Dianne Lindsey Walsh and her sister, Joanne
Dickson, will be held at Joanne's home at 1215 Garfield in South Pasadena.
That is the second house south of Monterey Road on the west side of the
street. The brunch is from 10:00 AM until Noon.
Hope you all enjoyed the Memory Books. Thanks to Judy Moreland Money for a
great job coordinating that effort. We will have a few on the dining tables
at Saturday night dinner for your enjoyment.
See you there.
