We drove through Utah, Idaho, and Nevada.   We left and drove to Beaver, Utah a distance of about 500 miles.  The next day we drove on part of the Pony Express route and ended up for the night at Wendover, Ut.  Then we drove along the route of the transcontinental railroad and visited the place where the Golden Spike was driven to connect the railroads together.  That night we spent at Burley, Id.   McCall, Id was our next destination.   Then on to Weiser, Id where a national fiddling festival would start the next day.  We ended up at Mountain Home after driving along the south side of the Snake River.  The next to last day was  spent driving to Winnemucca, which is on Highway 80 in Nevada.   Finally, we drove 600 miles back to Hermosa Beach arriving at 735 PM.    Notes
