Opunohu Bay, Moorea
We left Bora Bora at 4 Pm and sailed all night, 135 nautical
miles to Opunohu Bay on Moorea. This is where Captain Cook anchored when
he was in French Polynesia. We went ashore and walked around town. Our
last snorkeling trip was in the afternoon to a beach at a Christian campground.
Then on to Papeete for an overnight at the dock and left early the next morning
for the airplane back to Los Angeles.
