In late October 2008, we took a last minute cruise from Fort Lauderdale in Florida through the Panama Canal to Los Angeles.   We flew to Miami and took a bus to the Coral Princess in Fort Lauderdale.   It was a 14 day cruise with stops in Aruba, Cartagena (Columbia), through the Panama Canal, Puntarenas (Costa Rica), San Juan Del Sur (Nicaragua), Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala),  Huatulco (Mexico), and ending at Los Angeles.  The Weather was warm, but hot for only a few hours during the trip.  We traveled 4775 nautical miles in 14 days.
