Jim was driving at 110 kph 80 km west of San Luis Potosi when the engine died.  We pulled over on the side and the car wouldn't start.  The 1800 number for roadside service did not work and the local office in Leon wouldn't help us.  A green angel ( Mexican government tourist service) came along and he couldn't fix the car either. He was able to reach a towtruck which came in 2 hours and towed us for 1.5 hours to the Chrysler dealer.  Sharon and I rode in the jeep on the truck. We had to squash down in the seats so the cops couldn't see us. When we arrived at the dealer no one knew where our replacement car was.  Jim P walked down the street and saw a Hertz office across the freeway.  They were waiting for us a and we got a different jeep.  It also had problems, but was ok for the rest of the trip.   Thus ends our only adventure of the trip.
