Our trip to Florida was from 17 April to 25 April 2007.   We flew to Miami and toured the city, the Keys, the Everglades, and Southwest Florida.   Weather was in the low to mid 80s with low humidity.   We drove around with no airconditioning and were comfortable.  It rained late one afternoon for 30 minutes.  Lots of alligators all over southern Florida.  The motels and hotels are expensive.  The AAA tour book gave wide ranges for the prices.  In the Keys, without reservations, rooms are hard to find and very expensive.  One motel had a room for $323 which we passed on.  Roads are good, but the terrain is flat.    Notes
